I remembered your warm embrace, how you said you'd always be there for me. So I came to you. I told you all my problems, and sought your advice, your unlimited wisdom. You said that you'd fix it for me if you could. I said that was okay. I need to learn to live with pain, because people are always going to disappoint me. But I knew you never would. You are the one person I feel like I can trust. I want you to join with me in mind, heart, body, and spirit. I want you to feel your presence around me, feel your infinite love guiding me. You give me faith and support in every part of my life, and you help me bring meaning to my existence. I would be lost without you.
My name is Angela Lynn Teague. I was born on June 19th, 1987, in Athens, GA, at Athens Regional Medical Center. I am a writer with 12 years of experience under my creative belt. I like to read and write in all genres, but my favorite subjects are fantasy, science fiction, and romance. I've been published three times in poem anthologies and won a poetry award for Best Adult Poet-2007. I like meditating, candlegazing, and I do Yoga as an exercise, while incorporating martial arts, aerobics, and stretching to maximize my results. I've got long, black hair and honey brown eyes. I like cats, though dragons are my favorite creature, which is why I use a dragon-based deck while dueling with Yugioh cards, which not only has some of the most powerful dragons in the game, but also features three of the most legendary: three Blue-Eyes White Dragons. I love those, as they never let me down. I have one child, a son named Sephiro Jeremiah Teague, now age 2. I was in a spelling bee in 8th grade. I lost to a 7th grader, because I missed the word "quiche." Ironically enough, to try out for the spelling bee, I was the best in the school, and I knew all the other 299 words on the spelling list for the bee. I just wasn't meant for it, I suppose. It's just a self-served dish of irony. I hate the word "quiche" now, and to this day, have not forgotten how to spell it. I love anime, and watch it regularly, both on television and the internet. My favorites will be in a list in another blog.
I have been published in three poetry anthologies. I won Best Adult Poet Of 2007 from poetry.com. (I will update this post as more accomplishments are achieved.)
